Sögusviðið er Japan 19. aldar, ríkið er þjáð af innri átökum, hungursneyð og rambar á barmi styrjaldar. Sem Ronin, bardagakappi án meistara, þarft þú að kljást við innrásarlið og smákónga til að bjarga landinu frá glötun.
Leikurinn þykir minna á Ghost of Tsushima og er þar ekki leiðum á líkjast.
